Scott is an educator and coach. He began his career as a middle and high school teacher in Georgia and later taught in Carthage, Tennessee, home of Al Gore and one of the world’s richest deposits of zinc. He then began work on his doctorate degree in curriculum and instructional leadership at Peabody College of Vanderbilt University. He was an assistant instructor in the education program for three years, teaching undergraduate and graduate level courses. After school Scot began his first stint on the Christ Church staff in the children’s ministry and later in the college and young adult program. After five years he left the staff to become Vice President and Director of Training at The Rainmaker Academy, which is dedicated to training public accountants nationally and internationally. Scott has made hundreds of presentations in the United States, Canada and Western Europe. He belongs to the American Society for Training and Development, The National Speaker’s Association and volunteer coaches in the West Nashville Sports League and Crieve Hall Youth Baseball Association.

Favorite Sport Team:Georgia Bulldogs / Auburn Tigers – I cheer for the one with the most to gain.
