Saturday, November 14, 2009 This event will occur six times a year. Sitting on couches in a living-room type setting, we’ll enjoy coffee and goodies while we discuss important issues regarding women. Mature women of the faith will share about their experiences of marriage, parenting, singleness, and knowing the Lord through all of it—what they would do the same or differently if they could do it all again. They will also answer your questions. Note cards will be handed out at the beginning and anonymous questions can be written on them during the first half of the morning. Spontaneous questions are also welcome.
- most people call her Toni - was born in Sacramento, California. When she was 3 years old she came to Nashville, TN with her grandparents. Her great-grandmother and grandmother were Christians and her mother became a Christian before going on to be with the Lord. Toni has been married 34 years and has 2 children, a wonderful daughter-in-law and 5 beautiful grandchildren. She has been attending Christ Church since 1987, and considers it part of her family and acknowledges that Christ Church has been a very crucial influential part of who she is becoming in Christ, for which she is very grateful. Toni worked on staff at Christ Church for almost 6 years and this is where she learned to serve the Body of Christ as well as reaching out to those who are searching for a place to belong.
- has been a member of Christ Church for nine years. She is the Director of Medical Services at Mercy Ministries and is also a registered nurse at Vanderbilt University Hospital in Labor and Delivery, PRN. She is a member of the Christ Church Choir and also sings periodically on the Sunday Morning Praise and Worship Team. Trusting the Lord in times of uncertainty has been a life-long lesson for her. God has been faithful to order her steps throughout her life and her faith has been strengthened as she continues to look to Him for direction.
