Shelby serves as Director of Communications & Life Groups. In this dual-focused role, she has the privilege of both shaping how the church communicates its mission and cultivating spaces for authentic discipleship through Life Groups.

Her communications work includes overseeing all internal and external messaging, leading creative campaigns, managing digital platforms, and ensuring that every story, event, and ministry moment points back to the vision of Christ Church as “a people on mission to bring hope and wholeness through Christ.” At the same time, she develops and supports Life Group leaders, helps create environments for intentional, relational discipleship, and her passion is walking alongside people as they grow as disciples who make disciples.

Shelby loves the variety of her role—whether collaborating with ministry leaders on a major campaign, training and resourcing Life Group leaders, or celebrating how God is at work in the church family.

Outside of her role, Shelby and her family enjoy traveling and camping, embracing the adventure of life with their two young kids, Zeke (10) and Emma (7). She and her husband, Joe, love welcoming neighbors and friends into their home, often around the table enjoying something incredible Joe made for dinner.
