Series: The Ten Commandments
You Must Not Steal
August 16, 2026 |
Exodus 20:1-17; Matt 6:25-33; John 10:7-10, 27-29
Stealing does more than take the personal property of another; it undermines trust in a community, robbing neighbors of the security necessary for health and flourishing in the ways God intends for His people. Whatever gain it may seem to provide, stealing works against our experience of the abundant life Christ comes to give, which we are intended to share with the Lord and steward with each other.
