In these two parables about the Kingdom, Jesus wants to teach us about things hidden, and things found; about those who stumble across the Kingdom by accident, and those who faithfully seek it out. Jesus also wants to teach us something about what it is worth to hold on to the treasure of the Kingdom once you find it… or once it finds you.
