If Paul were to summarize the Gospel in two words, they would be: Christ crucified. Yet in Paul's day, many struggled to understand this as "good news." Many still do. In a world where "might makes right" and "only the strong survive," how does the crucifixion of Jesus make any sense? How does the cross of Christ, which seems like foolishness and weakness to the world, actually reveal the wisdom and power of God which can save us?
