Series: A Summer in Acts
Three Perspectives on the Conversion of Saul of Tarsus
August 8, 2021 |
Acts 9:1-10
Like any of us, Saul of Tarsus had a certain perspective by which he viewed God, the scriptures, his faith, his friends, and even his enemies. But as we hear in Acts 9:1-10, that perspective began to dramatically shift when Saul encountered the risen Lord on the road to Damascus. By asking one honest question, “Who are you, Lord?”, and humbly submitting to the response, Saul of Tarsus would begin his journey to become Paul the Apostle. As Pastor Dan Scott explains, Paul would come to know there was always more to learn (and sometimes unlearn) in his walk with Christ. Are we pressing on today, willing to learn the same?
