Dr. Bennett and her daughter Brooklyn have been an active part of Christ Church for many years. She has led Bible studies and served as a faithful volunteer in many different areas of the life of our church. Currently, she serves as Chair of the Day School Advisory Council.

Her theological aptitude, contagious joy, biblical knowledge, zeal for discipleship, and relational capacity can all be seen in how she has connected her calling to God’s greater story.

Dr. Bennett previously served as an editor at Lifeway, where she developed much of the curriculum that anchors robust discipleship in churches across America. She most recently served as the Team Curriculum Leader and Education Arts Teacher at Stewarts Creek High School in Rutherford County. Dr. Bennett is a graduate of Fisk University and Moody Theological Seminary. She most recently received her Doctorate from Tennessee State University.
