Jackie Stanfield
Pastor Jackie has been a vital part of the Christ Church family for decades, serving the church and community in a variety of ways through the years. As our volunteer Prayer Ministry Coordinator, she helps to oversee and train our prayer teams and is a powerful prayer warrior for any need that comes to her. Through the Sunday School class she teaches on the Holy Spirit, Jackie became one of the main points of contact for a group of Nepali refugees who settled in our neighborhood and was instrumental in helping this community create their own Nepali congregation, which meets on our campus (you should ask her about this incredible story the next time you see her!).
Spending time with her friends and her large, wonderful family of 4 children, 14 grandchildren, and 6 great-grandchildren brings Jackie the most joy, especially when it involves getting to cook for everyone and having time together over a good meal. One thing many people don’t know about Jackie is that she decorated cakes for many years and even spent time teaching cake decorating in a local Middle School at night through community education.
