We may understand that murder is wrong, but why does Jesus place equal weight on anger, insults, and a refusal to reconcile? If we are willing to follow Him, Christ will lead us beneath the surface of our outward actions—into the deeper layers of our hearts—revealing the hidden wounds of sin He came to heal.
