“Do You See What I See?”
January 5, 2020 |
Luke 2:21-40, Isaiah 8:11-18
As the new year dawns, what do you see? As the light of Christ shines within your heart, what does He reveal? In this message, we take a much closer look at the words of blessing and prophecy spoken by Simeon in the temple over the infant Jesus, as well as Mary and Joseph. What does it mean for us to see what Simeon and Anna saw in the Christ child that day? Do we see Jesus as a Sanctuary; a Rock of Refuge with the strength to raise us to new life? Or do we see him as a Stumbling Block; a Stone of Offense over which we stumble and fall? Comments are turned off. Learn more
