With some much appreciated help from our Christ Church Kids, we ask ourselves today: how is the Spirit leading us, like Philip, to “Get Up and Go” in the name of Jesus? As we continue with our Summer in Acts, chapter 8, we see how the Holy Spirit was wondrously at work leading both Philip and the Ethiopian Eunuch. As these two men would meet in the middle of the Judean desert, how could either have known what God intended to do in them and through them? Because of their obedience to the prompting of the Spirit, the Gospel would advance and Christ would become known throughout the world.
