How do we grow in self-control? Like every element of the Fruit of the Spirit, self-control must grow in us by the power of the Holy Spirit. But as it does, we must cooperate with the Spirit if we are to grow in the practice and application of self-control in our daily lives. For it is self-control which is the key to flourishing in the freedom of Life in the Spirit for which Christ has set us free.
