Sorrow Into Joy
April 4, 2021 |
John 20:1-18
Although seemingly impossible, the resurrection of Jesus Christ was absolutely necessary for our salvation. Only a God of transformation could take something so painful, like the death of Christ, and turn it into the way by which we would be made whole. And as Mary Magdalene experienced on that first Easter morning, only the God of resurrection could take such deep sorrow and turn it into such great joy. Only the risen Christ could fulfill that promise for her, and for us. Hallelujah! Christ is risen! He is risen indeed!
