Third Sunday of Advent | 2021
December 12, 2021 |
Luke 1:67-79 (NRSV)
On this Third Sunday of Advent, we revisit the prophesy of Zechariah found in the first chapter of the Gospel according to Luke. Through these ancient words, we hear anew how JOY is far more than a fleeting emotion; it is a God-given result of the restoration of our relationship and future with God through Christ, who is Immanuel: God with Us.
