On this final Sunday of the season after Epiphany, we hear the account of the Transfiguration of Jesus, according to Matthew. Will we receive God’s invitation to see Jesus more fully revealed in His glory as the Messiah, the Son of God? Will we “listen to Him” and obey His word? Will we believe in Him and be saved; that we might experience transformation in us as we follow Him, learning to live and love in the way of Christ?
