Matthew has long had the heart to serve the church and has done so through numerous volunteer roles before joining the staff in 2019. Currently, he serves as the Director of Care & Recovery and strives to make Christ Church known as a safe place for individuals going through mental health issues, addiction, or challenging life changes.

Matthew loves being with his kids, playing tennis, working puzzles, and listening to podcasts in his free time. He is the proud father of five children, and his dream vacation is to travel through the Philippines with his kids someday. A little-known fact is that he performed and sang in many musical productions at the local high school, where he was the principal before joining the Christ Church staff.
