The first recorded miracle of the Early Church reveals where the true power of the Church resides. It is not great wealth or human ability that changes a person’s heart or physical condition. It is faith in the Name of Jesus that enables the lame to walk and the Church to speak Truth to power. When we are pressured to not speak in His name or tempted to rely upon our own efforts, we must choose to call and depend upon the Name of Jesus.
