Everybody worships something. The question is: who or what do you worship and why? Jesus resisted the temptation to gain the world through idolatry. But how often do we give in and give ourselves over to idols to get what we desire? There is only one worthy of our worship. If we will offer our whole selves to Him and seek God for His own sake, the Lord will empower us to better know and do His will. This is what God calls true worship.
