What Do We Learn About the Baptism of Jesus?
February 1, 2026 |
Matthew 3:13-17 (NKJV)
Jesus had one overarching purpose: to do the will of the Father so humanity could be reconciled and restored to God and each other. Christ came so that we might not only be forgiven of sin, but so we could learn to walk in the way of God’s Kingdom, which is the way of God’s righteousness and justice. This is God’s will for us: that we would grow together as the Body of Christ into maturity, living out our God-given identity as His children, learning to do the will of our Father, in the Way of the Son, in the power of the Spirit.
